Donating a ticket to a child or youth in need

We all know child poverty is a serious issue here in Okinawa. As an artist, growing up I always remembered how my mom would take me to see theatre and other performances. Now that I think back, I realize how important those experiences were in shaping who I am. As an artist they helped me build the foundation for my artistic expressions.

During this day and age, I want kids and the youth to especially know that a world full of possibilities and an acceptance towards diversity can be enjoyed through the form of art. I want them to understand that art, as a form of self-expression, is something the world cannot do without. Realizing your potential for self-expression and exploration through art can lead to building a better life and a better world.

This is why I set up a way for each one of us to be able to donate a ticket to a child or youth in need. Please feel free to contact me for more details.
